South American Music Workshops
Date: Monday 21st - Friday 25th February 2011
Time: 10.30am - 2.30pm daily
Where: Venues across Ryedale - see below for specific locations

Pied Piper is delighted to offer opportunities for children aged 7 - 11 years to take part in FREE South American music workshops during February half term. These workshops are delivered by Pied Piper as part of the NYMAZ programme of activity.
Guillermo Rozenthuler (voice & guitar) and Andres Ticino (percussion) are bringing the rhythms and songs of Latin America to Ryedale through a variety of workshop activities. Participants will explore South American percussion instruments to create the rhythms and riffs of traditional music, as well as using their voices and event their own bodies as an instrument!
The workshops conclude with a short performance by the participants for their families and friends, giving a platform for them to showcase their new skills.
Each day begins at 10.30am and our final performance starts at 2.30pm. Participants need to bring a packed lunch with them and all breaks will be supervised by a member of Pied Piper staff.
