Special Projects
In addition to our core activities with children and young people, Pied Piper regularly delivers special projects in partnership with local groups or agencies or on behalf of larger organisations.
These projects tend to come about in one of two ways:
- Pied Piper is approached by a partner agency or organisation who expresses an interest in working with us, or who has a specific project in mind and we work with them to realise the activity - e.g. projects wtih Kirkbymoorside Brass Band
- Pied Piper is commissioned by a larger organisation to deliver a programme of activity on their behalf - e.g. many of the projects we have delivered with the local Youth Music Action Zones, NYMAZ and Music 4U
Pied Piper's knowledge and understanding of delivering high quality music workshops in rural North Yorkshire is greatly valued by external agencies and partners. This geographic expertise combined with our eclectic musical contacts ensures that Pied Piper is able to respond to partners requests with projects which are appropriate, effective and which leave a lasting legacy on the communities and groups with whom we work.
